Our products are an alternative to sandstone and are made up of a variety of limestone, granite and quartz products. This range can be used in any application where sandstone is used but where a different colour or texture is desired.
We also stock pre-cut corner stone wall cladding that wraps around square edges to create the look of a solid stone wall.
All designs are on display at our showroom in Box Hill.

What is KLS stone cladding made of?
We supply stone cladding made from various types of stone such as granite, quartz, limestone, bluestone and of course sandstone to suit varying aesthetics. The thickness varies dependent on the material.
What are the benefits of stone cladding?
Stone cladding adds natural appeal to a building or feature, it is durable, it is low maintenance, and insulation properties can be improved when used on walls. The ease of moving thinner cladding compared to solid blocks is also a benefit, when teamed with corner L pieces which wrap around ends to complete the look.
Can stone cladding be used indoors?
Yes, cladding is commonly used for interior applications such as feature walls, fireplaces and accent areas to make a statement of drama and elegance.
How is stone cladding installed?
The process typically involves:
- Preparation: ensure surface is clean and dry and structurally sound.
- Applying Adhesive: use a strong adhesive to attach stone pieces to the wall.
- Setting the stone: carefully placing the stones to ensure proper alignment and fit, allowing for grout, or not, if you’re after a dry pack finish.
- Grouting: Filling the gaps between the stones with grout; use different thicknesses and colours to create the look you require.
- Sealing: Applying a sealant to protect stone from moisture and stains if required, dependent on stone type and location.
Is stone cladding expensive?
Pricing varies, dependent on the type you choose, but can be a cheaper option when conmpared to a solid stone wall.
How do I maintain stone cladding?
Maintenance is minimal, with light brushing to remove dust and a mild detergent and water to clean more thoroughly. Reapplying sealant periodically as per suppliers instructions, if required, especially for porous stone.
Can I install stone cladding myself?
Yes, several of our customers have done this. Or contact a local landscaper, stonemason, tiler or builder. Get in touch and if we know of someone in your area we can pass on their details.
Is cladding suitable for all climates?
Yes, as these are all natural stone, weather is not an issue. Always ensure you are using the correct adhesive for the conditions e.g. heat near a fireplace.
